The Darkly Luminous Fight For Persephone Parker by Leanna Renee Heiber
Grade: A+

This book deserves an A because it was a great read and kept me wanting more. That's what a good novel does. What I like about this book was a couple of things about. It is the second book in the Strangely Beautiful Series. I love the chemistry betwen Alexi and Percy. Love the scenes between them and thought that the evolution was progressing nicely. Having them get married makes it all the more urgent it seems for them to have as normal as a life as possible. Plus I like how having the worlds torn seem to be part of a prophecy.

Yet prophecy makes this seems more intense. Plus I love the ending of the book, but as always when trying to forfill a prophecy someone you didn't expect to die, does. Yet the author throws a curve ball that I didn't expect. When I'm surprised, that wants me to read the next book.

Mind Games by Carolyn Crane

Grade: A-

I love this book and how people cope with their fears. I love this new world of people with special abilities and how they take their talents and turn them against bad people.

Justine has a condition and think she's going to die until she meets Packard and finds a world that she never knew existed.Plus she learns that this a dangerous world and has to be careful. Yet through all the twists in this book, I loved it when all the characters have dark sides and are not who the reader thought they were in the beginning. Loved how everything came together in the end for Justine and Packard, and the crew of characters to realize that nothing is what it seems.
